The dining experience at Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a culinary treat. In conjunction with our dietitian, our talented chef prepares sumptuous meals that are appetizing while at the same time nutritious. Scrumptious, wholesome, and appetizing meals are prepared daily taking into account the dietary considerations of our residents. All entrees are freshly prepared in our kitchen daily, using the finest, natural ingredients and using reduced salt and sugar when necessary. Each selection is served with extra touches that make it look and taste delicious. Residents may choose their meal from a “Resident Approved” menu that includes a main entrée as well as an alternate entrée for every lunch and dinner. Special therapeutic diets are provided as specifically prescribed by guest’s attending physician and supervised by a dietician. Clinical dietary staff monitors dining rooms to ensure each resident’s satisfaction of their daily meals.
